A 15 page ColdFusion MX 6.1 performance brief has been posted on the Macromedia web site at http://www.macromedia.com/software/coldfusion/whitepapers/pdf/6_1/cfmx61_performancebrief.pdf. Based on these numbers it looks like we lied about the performance gains in this new version, it's not what we said at all, on some platforms it is even faster! This document has all the stats and also explains some of the engineering work that went into achieving these improvements.
