IntelliJ IDEA 10 Public Preview With CFML Support

IntelliJ IDEA is the IDE of choice for many Java developers (including much of the ColdFusion engineering team). JetBrains has announced the public preview of IntelliJ IDEA 10, which, among lots of other things, now includes a CFML plug-in.

ColdFusion Positions In VA, IL, And India

I meant to post these on Friday but never got to it, so posting multiple ColdFusion positions today (including this very interesting first one):

  • Unnamed law enforcement organization (Quantico, VA) is looking for a ColdFusion developer. Requirements include at least 3 years of ColdFusion experience, as well as experience with version control, SQL, and relational database design. Active secret clearance required.   • Quality Logo Products (Aurora, IL) is looking for a ColdFusion developer. Requirements include experience with CSS, Ajax, and MySQL. jQuery experience preferred. Details posted online.

A Couple Of Significant Flash Related Posts

First, the Official Google Webmaster Central Blog has announced significant enhancements to how Google indexes SWF files. This comes on top of work with Google two years ago, and enhancements last year, and as the post notes, Google is not done yet.

Secondly, Flex developer Matthew Fabb has posted thoughts on a MAX 2010 announcement that kind of got lost in all of the other big news, threading and concurrency support coming to Flash Player.
