The New York ColdFusion User Group is one of our oldest, and I have had the privilege of speaking to them many times. The group was founded by Judith and Michael Dinowitz who also ran it for more than a decade. The group is now being managed by Ben Nadel and Clark Valberg, and the first noticeable change is a new and improved
usergroup web site. Oh, and our own Adam Lehman will be speaking at the first NYCFUG meeting of 2008.
The
18th Annual Jolt Awards have been announced, and
ColdFusion 8 is a finalist in the Web Development Tools category (other finalists in this category are 3rdRail, Appcelerator, IntelliJ, NetBeans, RSSBus). Other Adobe products nominated are Captivate, RoboHelp, LiveCycle ES, and Device Central.
