ColdFusion 8 Books Are Done

We ran into some delays with the final volume of the updated ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit. But, the good news is that Volume 3 is done, and should be available before the end of the year. (Volume 2 before that). Links to the new 3 volume series are online.

Oh, and I am not supposed to discuss this publicly yet, but ... I've just started work on a Flex 3 book. ;-) More details to follow.

Looking forward to getting the rest of the CFWACK books. However, I'm even more excited that you're working on a Flex 3 book. I assume it will have a strong Coldfusion slant and that's something I really can't wait to get my hands on.

i'd find it highly unlikely that it will be have a coldfusion slant,

cf might get a mention here and there but rarely and never without also mentioning dot net and php.

I don't know if I agree with you on that John because the Flex books from Adobe Press (or an affiliate) have had chapters on integrating with CF and not with those other languages. Other books, like Wrox, have had mention of CF but also the other languages as well, usually from a services perspective.
