I tried paying my Corporate American Express bill online. The online form told me that the amount due was $2,420.53 (prefilling the box with that exact value), so I selected that balance and authorized payment. When I submitted the form I received the following error:
Error: The amount you attempted to pay exceeds the Total Outstanding Balance of 2420.5299999999997. Please reenter a payment amount that does not exceed this value.
Well, ok then!
Will you post your itemized bill for us to check out?

Reminds me of a story where a guy received a final utility bill after he moved for $0.00. He ignored it, since he didn't owe anything apparently, and then started getting collection notices, etc. After making a number of calls, he eventually had to send them a check for $0.00, which resolved it.
Who knows if this is an urban legend type story, but I found it amusing.
