ColdFusion Hosting in Brazil

One of the recurring complaints heard during my trip to Brazil last year was the lack of local ColdFusion hosting. That has now changed. The local Macromedia team worked with LocaWeb, the largest hosting company in Brazil, who is now offering both ColdFusion 5 and ColdFusion MX 6.1 hosting. To learn more visit LocaWeb at http://www.locaweb.com.br/.

Indeed! I'd like to say that this is one of the best examples of what a CFUG can do for the local community. In 2003, due the lack of competent (and even legal, in terms of sw licences) choices in the market we started to work with Macromedia Brazil and Locaweb folks to make sure that the service would fit the community needs.

The service is now maintained by a very qualified and competent staff in Locaweb and is definitively the best shared ColdFusion hosting choice here.

LocaWeb does not work with ColdFusion more.
Adobe is not interested in Brazil and here the developers don't work with ColdFusion because there are anyone webhosting with support CF.
Adobe don't interested in Brazil.
